The project consisted of the excavation and installation of a 59.75 liner foot box culvert and wingwalls along Tillson Ave in Highland, New York. The culvert was manufactured in 9 pieces including skewed inlet and outlet ends. The weights of the pieces varied between 22,360 and 30,140 pounds each.
The site contractor was A Colarusso and Sons. Their Project Manager was Jason Arrick, and the Site Supervisor was Sam Anderson. Site design and engineering was performed by Dan Gosselin PE and the site inspection was performed by Peter McCourt, Resident Engineer for Barton LoGuidice. Transportation to the site was performed by Borwegen Transport. Crane Services were handled by Burt Crane of Green Island, NY.
Precast Engineering was performed by Ronald Thornton PE of Concrete Engineering Solutions. Joseph Murphy of LHV Precast handled the estimating and project management for LHV Precast. Site photography and video was handled by Carl Cox of Tri-State Associated Services.
