The table was built in four 12 ft x 36 ft sections with a surface of 3/8″ steel plates. The table also includes a 12-inch-deep bolt-down rail kit.
The table was manufactured by Afinitas of Columbus, Ohio. LHV Precast is committed to American-made forms and casting equipment. Kyle Hignet of Afintas was an instrumental part of our design and acquisition. This is our third purchase from Afinitas in 2023. Both companies are proud members of NPCA.
The new table enables LHV Precast to complete more complex designs requiring a measured level flat casting surface. The new table allows us to expand our tunnel, bridge, bridge deck & beam, headwall, and wingwall products bringing clean lines and level surfaces to these signature projects.
The table is an added feature to our new manufacturing facility constructed in 2021. There is a similar casting table measuring 12 ft x 50 ft (600 sq ft) in the senior building. The casting table was assembled and installed by the building fabrication team led by Kyle Willis.
